 title We can all agree Chicago sports traditions are consistent.  The Fire Department is also consistently playing sports for charities.

The Chicago Fire Department has teams that compete in everything from volleyball to bags.  A lot of the competitions are friendly rivalries with the Chicago Police Department.  Games between us are always played hard, and are always fun for the players, family, friends, fans and sponsors.  Police vs Fire typically has a Cubs vs. White Sox atmosphere.

Some games are annual, and some sports are played regularly.  Some of the bigger games and events are:

Sunday Aug 5th 2012 Chicago’s Finest take on Chicago’s Bravest in a Charity Baseball Game benefitting The CPD Memorial & The Gold Badge Society.
Gates Open @ 1:30pm and Game Time 3:05pm

Pre-Game Celebration will include a dedication to Fallen Officer Clifton Lewis (15th Dist), Department Honor Guard, Fly Over and American Idol past contestant CHRIS MEDINA will be singing our National Anthem!!
